About me
I am a Clinical Psychologist and associate member of the South African Neuropsychological association with a passion for the human condition across the whole lifespan…
For the past 30 years I have been employed by the Department of Defence, both as soldier and psychologist. I am in private practice at Salveo Centre as an Independent Clinical Psychologist.
No therapist takes a one-size-fits-all approach. Depending on the client’s presenting problem and their unique background, an approach is tailored. I use an Integrative Interactional Approach based on Person Centred Principles and an Ecosystemic theoretical approach in seeking an understanding of clients’ challenges, whilst collaborating with them to resolve their challenges.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy assists persons to learn how to identify and change destructive or disturbing thought patterns that have a negative impact on their behaviour and emotions.
Brain Working Recursive Therapy aids clients to deal with various life stressors, including Trauma, Bereavement by changing redundant behavioural patterns on a pre-conscious level.
These are just some of the therapeutic tools employed in assisting clients with challenges.
